The WWE’s women’s roster features some of the biggest and best names in the business. Here is the updated 2023 WWE Women roster with new additions and releases

The women’s roster of WWE in 2023 has seen quite a few changes. That is expected given that some wrestlers are removed from the roster and a few have been released.

Raw and SmackDown feature some of the biggest names from the roster. However, NXT has become a breeding ground for incredible talent from the male and female sides.

This sees a lot of NXT stars move on to the Raw and SmackDown rosters when the draft comes in or when WWE needs to make a big move.All names are taken from WWE.com.

Becky Lynch

Arguably the biggest name in the women’s side of the wrestling business, Becky Lynch has achieved almost everything there is to in WWE. She is a Women’s Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion.

Lynch is married to Seth Rollins and the pair are blessed with a baby girl. She first made her name on NXT but now is a staple on Raw. Lynch is also the NXT Women’s Champion.

Candice LeRae

Candice LeRae was one of the big names during her time on NXT. She is the wife of Johnny Gargano and played a part in the feud between Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.

LeRae also formed the heel faction, The Way, before she left NXT as her contract expired. However, she returned to WWE in 2022 as part of the Raw roster.

Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green is one-half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Piper Niven.

She is mostly known for her time on Impact Wrestling and won several titles there. She joined WWE in 2018 but was released in 2021. However, she is back in the company after stints in Ring of Honor and Impact.

Indi Hartwell

Indi Hartwell is an Australian WWE star and a former NXT Women’s Champion and a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. She had a great storyline with Dexter Lumis and about dating him on NXT.

Katana Chance

Katana Chance (AKa Kacy Catanzaro) was known for her time on American Ninja Warrior before she came to WWE. She is a one-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Kayden Carter and now performs on the Raw brand.

Kayden Carter

Kayden Carter is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Katana Chance. The pair hold the record for the longest title reign in history but now perform on Raw.

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan is one of the most popular stars in the WWE right now. She is a former SmackDown Women’s Champion and also held the WWE Women’s Tag Team title with Raquel Rodriguez.

Morgan was originally on NXT before joining the Riott Squad. Now she is a singles performer on Raw.

Maxxine Dupri

Maxxine Dupri is signed to WWE and isn’t a big performer in the ring. However, she is known as the valet and manager of Alpha Academy.

Dupri is also a former dancer for the Phoenix Suns and was a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams.

Natalya

Natalya is a former Divas and SmackDown Women’s Champion. The Canadian also won the WWE Women’s Tag titles with Tamina.

She is married to former WWE star Tyson Kidd and is the daughter of Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart.

Nia Jax

Nia Jax has had her ups and downs in WWE and was released by the company. However, she returned in 2023 and is now a regular member.

Jax is also related to The Rock and is a former Raw Women’s Champion and a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Nikki Cross

Nikki Cross is a former Raw Women’s Champion, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and the last WWE 24/7 Champion.

She was part of Sanity during her time on NXT and then turned into Nikki ASH (A superhero parody) in June 2021.

Cross is married to former WWE star Killian Dain, who was part of Sanity.

Piper Niven

Piper Niven made her name on the indie scene before joining WWE and performing under the name Doudrop. The Scot now performs on Raw and is the Women’s Tag Champion with Chelsea Green.

Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel Rodriguez is a powerhouse in the women’s division of WWE. She is a former Women’s Tax Team Champion, NXT Women’s Champion and has held the tag titles with Liv Morgan and Aliyah.

Rhea Ripley

A rising star in WWE who already is hitting new heights every single week, Rhea Ripley is currently the Women’s World Champion.

The Australian was brilliant during her time on NXT UK and won titles on NXT and NXT UK. She is a WWE Women’s Triple Crown And Women’s Grand Slam Champion. Currently, she is a member of Judgement Day and has an onscreen relationship with Dominik Mysterio.

However, Ripley is engaged to former WWE star Buddy Matthews.

Ronda Rousey

The Baddest Woman on the Planet, Ronda Rousey, joined WWE after dominating rivals in the UFC. The American won almost every title there is in WWE and is one of the few to have achieved success in MMA and pro wrestling.

However, Rousey hasn’t always had the best of times in WWE. She is the only woman to have been a champion in the UFC and WWE, but seems to have retired from wrestling.

Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler is another name that came from MMA to become a part of WWE. She dominated on NXT and is a former NXT Women’s Champion. Baszler is close friends with Rousey and is a former three-time Women’s tag champion as well.

Sonya Deville

Sonya Deville is also a female star who came from the MMA circuit and is now a wrestler. She formed a great team with former WWE star Mandy Rose but they split up. Deville is a former Tag team champion but became an authority figure in between.

She is currently on hiatus as she suffered an ACL injury.

Tegan Nox

Welsh star Tegan Nox started off her career at TNA with one appearance before starring in other promotions. She was on WWE NXT before being released in 2021. Not then became part of WWE again in 2022 and was on SmackDown before joining Raw as part of the 2023 Draft.

Valhalla

Valhalla (Sarah Logan) is another star that was released by WWE but then brought back. She started off on the indie scene before becoming part of the Riott Squad. Logan was released by WWE in 2020 but she came back in 2022 as Valhalla and managing the Viking Raiders.

Valhalla is also the wife of Viking Raiders star Erik and the couple have a son.

Xia Li

Xia Li has history on her side as she is the first Chinese female star to compete in WWE. She joined WWE in 2017 and then made a name for herself on NXT. She is now on Raw after a couple of years on SmackDown.

Zoey Stark

Zoey Stark is another WWE star who is a former NXT Women’s Tag Champion. She spent quite a few years away from WWE before making her name in NXT in 2021.

Asuka is one of the greatest female talents ever in WWE. The Japanese star is on SmackDown presently but has won titles in several promotions.

Asuka is a Women’s Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion and is now starring on SmackDown.

B-Fab

B-Fab has been part of WWE for a while and was part of Hit Row when they were making their name on NXT.

She is now on SmackDown and even participated in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble but was eliminated easily.

Bayley

Bayley is another big name in the women’s wrestling business. She is the first women’s Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam Champion in WWE history.

She made her name on NXT before moving to the main brands. Bayley is now on SmackDown and is the leader of Damage CTRL.

Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair was called the EST of NXT and for good reason. The former NXT star is a three-time Women’s Champion and also a Royal Rumble winner.

Belair holds several records in WWE and is someone to keep an eye out for a long time.

Charlotte Flair

The daughter of the legendary Ric Flair, Charlotte Flair is one of the greatest wrestling talents to have ever graced the ring. She was one of the breakout stars during her time on NXT and has several top honours for her talents.

Charlotte is a 14-time Women’s Champion and is also a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion.

Dakota Kai

Dakota Kai is a New Zealand wrestling star who made her name on NXT and now is part of Damage CTRL. She is a former two-time Women’s tag team champion and also a two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team champion.

Isla Dawn

Isla Dawn is another talent who came through NXT UK and then had a feud with Alba Fyre before teaming up with her.

Dawn was then drafted to SmackDown with Fyre.

IYO SKY

IYO SKY is a Japanese star on SmackDown and is the current Women’s Champion. She has held a lot of titles during her time with WWE and is a former Women’s Tag Champion and held both female titles on NXT.

SKY was known as Io Shirai before making it to the main roster and is now part of Damage CTRL.

Michin

Michim, formerly known as Mia Yim, is a member of The OC and is on SmackDown. She won several titles during her time in other promotions and was one of the rising stars on NXT.

She was a part of Retribution before being released in 2021, but she returned to WWE in 2022.

Scarlett

Scarlett or Scarlett Bordeaux is on the SmackDown brand with her husband, Karrion Kross.

Bordeaux isn’t a major wrestler in WWE but has performed in other promotions.

Blair Davenport

Blair Davenport was known as Bea Priestley before she came to WWE. She made her name in several other promotions like AEW and NJPW.

She is currently on NXT after signing with WWE in 2021.

Cora Jade
